Job summary

Forest City Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support dining services. The role involves plating meals attractively, assisting with serving on a timely basis, and adhering to portion control procedures. A positive customer service mindset is essential.

Candidates must be available evenings and weekends, be able to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and hold a Food Handlers certificate. Prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Weekend and some holidays availability.
• Able to push, pull, move and/or lift at least 25 lbs up to 5 ft and 50 ft.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work at a fast pace.
• Hold a Food Handlers certificate.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.

Dietary Aide Must Have The Following

• Must be available to work weekendsand some holidays.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift aminimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum of 5 ft. and be able topush, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 ft.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and work at a fast pace while paying close attention todetail.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Hold your Food Handlers certificate
