Job summary

Vista Senior Living Management, part of Eden Vista Ripon, is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Aide/Cook to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, professional individual who understands the important role nutrition and hospitality play in enhancing our residents' quality of life.

Schedule: Full-Time, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 5-6 days per week with rotating weekend shifts. Responsibilities include meal prep assistance, serving residents, and ensuring sanitation and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cook or Dietary Aide, healthcare setting preferred.
• Reliable, dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Professional attitude and respectful communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep and dining areas.
• Assist with meal preparation as directed by Head Cook.
• Serve meals to residents in dining room or rooms.
• Clean and sanitize dining areas after service.
• Receive and stock food deliveries in pantry, fridge, freezer.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Work with dietary team to provide excellent resident service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Dietary Aide/Cook

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• 5-6 working days in a week
• 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekend shifts required

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation and dining areas.
• Assist with meal preparation as directed by the Head Cook.
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or deliver meals to resident rooms.
• Clean and sanitize dining areas following meal service.
• Receive and properly stock food deliveries in the pantry, refrigerator, and freezer.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to provide excellent service to residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• Prior experience as a Cook or Dietary Aide in a healthcare setting.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.

• A good level of maturity and the ability to work well in a healthcare environment.
