Your Job:

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for tasks related to the preparation, service, and cleanup of meals served to residents. Maintains an attractive and sanitary dining area, manages meal service and delivery.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in large-scale cooking operations preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food ordering, storage, and preparation as directed.
• Support cooks as directed.
• Prepare and label nourishments according to procedures.
• Prepare and portion desserts, salads, and other foods; pour beverages.
• Follow production and pre-preparation guidelines.
• Perform pre-preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits; slicing meat; measuring ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness according to schedule; clean equipment and work areas; sweep and mop kitchen floors; take out trash; wash pots and pans.
• Meet meal schedules.
• Wash dishes and silverware; put away clean items; assist with cleaning kitchen equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned or changed as needed.
