Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide to create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. You will take food and drink orders, help seat and assist residents, deliver meals, and clear dinnerware promptly.

This role may include light cleaning, dishwashing, and food prep. Availability for days or evenings, weekend and holiday rotation, and both full-time or part-time hours. Pay starts at $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Sanitation certified or able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for taking food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.
