JOB SUMMARY:

The Dietary Aideposition ensures the sanitary conditions of the cooking and dining areas. Thisposition helps to assemble meal trays and assists in preparation and serving ofmeals to our residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take down dining areasand collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Assist Cook in preparingmeals
• Responsible fordelivering meals to resident rooms or tables and setting up meal trays inaccordance with dietary orders and tray cards.
• Cleans utensils, dishes,and pots and pans by operating the dishwasher or proper handwashing processes
• Partners with dietarystaff to ensure equipment is working properly and at the appropriatetemperature.
• Stock ingredients andmonitor inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed

REQUIREMENTS:

Food Handlers permit required by the State upon hire
