Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your job is to perform a variety of tasks related to meal preparation, service, and clean-up for residents and staff in the nursing center and at special events, following federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and Solaris Healthcare’s policies.

• Assist the Cook as directed by the Food Service Director.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, refrigerator, freezer, and dining rooms.
• Prepare and label nourishments according to procedures. Deliver to resident areas.
• Prepare and portion desserts, salads, and other non-entrée foods into dishes. Pour beverages.
• Follow production sheets and pre-preparation guides.
• Use proper handwashing techniques.
• Complete assigned work tasks.

Position Details
