Job summary

The Pines in Placerville is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to support daily kitchen operations and ensure residents receive meals safely, promptly, and with quality care. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Experience in food service or healthcare settings is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and serve meal trays to residents.
• Assist with food preparation, snacks, and nourishments.
• Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and dining spaces.
• Monitor dishwashing temperatures and sanitation standards.
• Store food and supplies in an organized and sanitary manner.
• Take out trash and support overall kitchen upkeep.
• Work collaboratively with dietary and facility staff to meet daily needs.
