Job summary

Berkshire Health Systems is seeking a Food Service Aide to support the dining operations and dish room activities. The role involves performing a variety of food service tasks and adapting to daily department needs, under the supervision of the Food Service Manager/Supervisor.

Desired candidates have a High School diploma or GED, prior food handling experience, and strong interpersonal and communication skills together with the ability to read and follow written instructions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• ServSafe Certification within one year of employment preferred.
• Previous experience in food handling preferred.
• Ability to work with a wide variety of people.
• Must have very good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instruction.
• Must be able to quickly move from one duty to another as needs of the department change.
