Arcadia Care in Peoria Heights, IL is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, serving, and adherence to dietary plans and food safety standards.

You will support the kitchen team by reviewing menus, delivering snacks, and helping maintain a clean, safe dining environment for residents.

• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, and be willing to handle residents based on their maturity level.

Job Summary:

The Dietary Aide is responsible for aiding all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

Essential Duties:

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders. Also ensure food, etc., is prepared in accordance with sanitary regulations.
• Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
• Prepare & deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.
