Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms and times
• Clear dining areas and collect plates and glasses
• Dispose of leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, utensils, and cookware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Assist with expense tracking and menu planning
• Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances

Requirements

• Proven experience as a dietary aide
• Additional customer service experience is a plus
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Ability to operate cookware, bakeware, and appliances
• Good communication skills and friendliness
• Physical stamina and good condition
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus
• Must pass a criminal background check
