Avalon Health & Rehabilitation Center in Pasco, WA is seeking a part-time on-call dishwasher to support dishwashing, sanitation, and meal service. The role focuses on maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area while assisting with food preparation as needed.

The position requires a Food Handler's Permit or ServeSafe certification as required, plus strong teamwork and attention to detail to ensure safety and quality for residents. Pay is $18.00/hour with part-time benefits available.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Permit or ServeSafe certification as required.
• Previous dietary, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and sanitation practices.
• Ability to pass employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
• Assist with food preparation and meal service as needed
• Ensure food service areas meet safety and sanitation standards
• Support accurate meal tray preparation and delivery
• Work with the dietary team to provide a positive dining experience for residents
