Job summary

Avalon Care Center Yakima is seeking a caring dietary support teammate to assist with food preparation, meal service, and keeping the kitchen clean. You will work with the dietary team to provide a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• FoodHandler's Permit or ServeSafe certification required.
• Experience in dietary, food service, or customer service preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and sanitation practices.
• Able to pass employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal service
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
• Ensure food service areas meet safety and sanitation standards
• Support accurate meal tray preparation and delivery
• Work with the dietary team to provide a positive dining experience for residents

• Assist with food preparation and meal service
