Recover-Care in Osborne, Kansas is seeking a dietary aide to assist in meal preparation, service, and clean up for patients and staff in the nursing center.

You will support the cook, prepare nourishments, desserts, salads, and beverages, follow production sheets, and maintain sanitation and safety while delivering friendly, reliable service.

Qualifikationen

• Verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic sanitation, organization and safety knowledge.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Performs a variety of tasks usually not requiring cooking skills in the preparation, service, and clean up for meals served to patients and staff in the nursing center and other special events.

GENERAL DUTIES

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS

• The dietary aide candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred
