Position: Dietary Aide

As a dietary aide, you will prepare food for residents, fill requests, plate food, and wash and sanitize dishes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure condiment and beverage containers are clean and filled
• Assist with food preparation as needed
• Maintain infection control standards
• Plate food
• Wash and sanitize dishes
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain Food Handler’s card
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Compassion and interest in working with seniors
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe appearance
• Excellent customer service skills
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, and a home-like environment for residents
