St. Luke Lutheran Community in North Canton is seeking compassionate Dietary Aides to support the Dietary Department under the Diet Manager. You will assist with serving, dishwashing, cleaning, bussing tables, stocking supplies, and resident engagement.
The role is full-time (40 hours) with two shift options: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 11:00 AM–close (7:30–8:00 PM). Candidates should be at least 16 and have a minimum of 10th grade education, with excellent communication and detail orientation.
This role, under the supervision of our Dietary Manager, assists with various integral tasks related to the Dietary Department: Serving, dishwashing, cleaning, bussing tables, preparation of supplies, stocking, engaging with residents and more.
Full-Time (40 hours)
6:30AM - 3:00PM and/or 11:00AM - Close (7:30-8:00PM)
Every other weekend/Every other holiday (required)
Minimum 10th grade education and 16 years of age
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and other staff/team members
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families
Ability to switch-tasks/re-prioritize quickly in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm, cool, and collected
Strong attention to detail
Previous food service work preferred
