Job summary

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale is seeking Dietary Aides to join our team. You will assist in assembling and checking diet trays to ensure residents receive meals that meet dietary needs, and you will label and date food properly.

Deliver and collect carts, maintain dishroom cleanliness, and help with snack delivery to nursing units. Ideal candidates will have dietary aide experience, be able to follow procedures, and demonstrate a positive attitude and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have dietary aide experience (LTC preferred but not required).
• Able to follow and understand procedures.
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts and return dishes to the dish room.
• Work in the dish room washing dishes and utensils.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Keep the kitchen area clean; sweep and mop floors.
• Carry out garbage.

Dietary Aide

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale is seeking Dietary Aides to join our team.

Dietary AideDuties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage

Dietary AideRequirements/Qualifications:

• Must have dietary aide experience (LTC preferred but not required)
• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality
