Arcadia Care is seeking a compassionate Dietary/Kitchen Aide to assist with meal preparation and service under established policies. You will review menus, follow standardized recipes, and help keep the kitchen clean and sanitary.

The role involves preparing and delivering meals, assisting in prep areas, and supporting residents with meals and snacks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm; ability to interact with residents at their current level.
• Kitchen experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals per planned menus with standardized recipes and special diet orders.
• Maintain department cleanliness and safety per sanitary regulations.
• Prepare & deliver snacks as instructed.
• Assist in meal prep, cooking and clean-up.

Dietary/Kitchen Aide

Job Summary:

The Dietary/Kitchen Aide is responsible for aiding all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

Essential Duties:

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders. Also ensure food, kitchen, facility etc., is prepared or kept in accordance with sanitary regulations.
• Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
• Prepare & deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.
• Assist in preparation, cooking and clean‑up of meals and prep areas.
