Job summary

Lake Taylor Health Center in Norfolk, VA is hiring dietary aides to support meal preparation, service, and cleanup for patients and residents. Responsibilities include setting up, breaking down, and sanitizing areas and items used in patient meal services.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a food handlers card (or be willing to obtain one on hire). Prior kitchen or food service experience is preferred. Hours include morning and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have food handlers card, or obtain one upon hire.
• Previous experience in a food service department or kitchen is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and assist with cleanup for meals served to patients/residents and other events.
• Set up, breakdown, and sanitation of food and non-food items for patient meal services.

Hours: 6:15am-2:15pm & 3:30pm-7:30pm

Hourly rate $15.00 to $16.00
