Job summary

Waterview Nursing Care Center is seeking dedicated dietary aides to join our team on full-time and part-time schedules. You will work with Dietitians, Chefs and Dietary Managers to support nutrition services for residents and patients.

Responsibilities include preparing meals, serving, maintaining hygiene, inventory, following state regulations, assisting with menu planning and education programs. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic facility that emphasizes resident well-being and teamwork

Qualifications

• Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures.
• Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times.
• Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items.
• Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations.
• Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning.
• Assisting with educational programs on nutrition.
• Planning menus alongside Chefs, Dietitians and Doctors.
• Tracking expenses.

Job description

Waterview Nursing Care Center is a dynamic skilled nursing and rehab center. We are currently looking for Fulltime and partime dietary aides .

Our Dietary aides works alongside our Dietary Managers and Chefs to help prepare food for residents and patients. They often have the following responsibilities:

• Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures
• Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
• Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items
• Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations
• Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
• Assisting with educational programs on nutrition
• Planning menus alongside Chefs, Dietitians and Doctors
