Job summary

Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide to support meal service in our skilled nursing facility. You will assist on the tray line, help with food preparation, and ensure proper labeling and storage of foods.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitary conditions, cleaning equipment and work areas, performing routine kitchen duties, and following Dietary Management procedures.

Qualifications

• Dietary/Kitchen experience preferred but will train

• Cleans and maintains assigned equipment and work areas, including walls and ceilings, ensuring sanitary conditions.
• Performs routine housekeeping tasks such as dishwashing, garbage disposal and sweeping or mopping.
• Follows procedures outlined in Dietary Management Systems pertaining to the handling of all foods.
• Performs all tasks and duties in an essential and safe way.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary.
• Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and facility needs.
