Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Lely Palms in Naples, FL, seeks a dedicated Food Service Worker to support meal preparation, service and cleanup for residents and staff in our nursing center. This role emphasizes following federal, state and local guidelines and Solaris HealthCare policies.

Responsibilities include assisting the Cook, handling pans and trays, labeling nourishments, portioning desserts and beverages, and ensuring proper handwashing. Florida AHCA background screening is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand directions required; Ability to read, desirable.
• Experience not required, but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from stations.
• Prepare and label nourishments and deliver to resident areas.
• Prepare and portion desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods.

Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your job position is to perform a variety of tasks usually not requiring cooking skills in the preparation, service, and clean-up for meals served to residents and staff in the nursing center and other special events, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and Solaris HealthCare’s established policies and procedures.
