Clarion Psychiatric Center in Pennsylvania is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation, dishwashing, and delivering snacks and supplies to patient care areas. You will restock drink coolers and help the primary cook serve daily meals.

Qualifications include ServSafe certification within the first year, plus two years of high-volume cook experience in a commercial or institutional setting. Knowledge of kitchen equipment, dietary safety, and sanitary procedures is required.

Education

Unless previously attained, a successful completion of employer provided ServSafe class with certification will be required within first year of employment.

General Working Environment

Kitchen / Hospital setting. Works in a well-lit and ventilated setting, is subject to frequent interruptions, patient interaction during serving times and while delivering supplies, and personnel throughout designated areas under varying conditions and circumstances.

Physical Requirements

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and be able to walk and stand for long periods. The Physical Requirements described herein are representative of those, which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary functions of this job. Drug/Alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post offer, pre-employment urine drug screen.
