Job summary

Cura Health is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support residents with nutritious dining experiences and the daily operations of the dietary department. You will assist with meal prep, service, tray delivery, and following diet orders in a clean, sanitary setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in food service, dietary, or healthcare is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow resident diet orders, menus, and food service instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry food trays and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals and snacks to residents.
• Set up and deliver meal trays according to resident diet orders and preferences.
• Ensure residents receive correct meals, beverages, and portion sizes.
• Assist with dining room setup and cleanup before and after meals.
• Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, and food service areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food and supplies.
• Communicate resident dietary concerns or meal preferences to staff.
• Provide friendly, respectful service to residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
