Olivia Hospital & Clinic is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team, serving patient meals and supporting dietary needs. The role emphasizes accuracy, courtesy, and adherence to dietary restrictions, with a casual/on-call schedule and opportunities to learn ServSafe certification after hire.

The position focuses on tray preparation, order taking, POS transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized dining area for patients and visitors. HealthPartners network supports comprehensive benefits.

Mansioni

• Prepares and delivers food trays for general and therapeutic diets to patient rooms.
• Prepares food according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Obtains and relays Diet Orders and messages from the Diet Census system.
• Takes room service orders using proper phone etiquette.
• Stocks and maintains inventory of utensils, napkins, cups, beverages, and a-la-carte items.
• Prints labels for a-la-carte meals.
• Ensures appropriate portion/service sizes.
• Washes dishes and unused equipment and stores properly when dry.
• Uses Point of Sale system for customer purchases.
• Cleans café at end of day and prepares for morning service.

Position Summary:

Olivia Hospital & Clinic is looking to hire a Dietary Aide – to join our – team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Work Schedule:

Casual/On-Call, FTE 0.0

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and delivers food trays for general and therapeutic diets to patient rooms in a kind and courteous manner.
• Prepares food according to standardized recipes and written and verbal instructions.
• Obtains and relays Diet Orders and messages from the computer Diet Census.
• Takes room service orders using proper phone etiquette.
• Stocks and maintains adequate inventory including utensils, napkins, cups, bottled beverages, and a-la-carte food items.
• Prints labels for a-la-carte meals.
• Ensures appropriate portion/service sizes.
• Washes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment and places in appropriate storage space once dry.
• Uses Point of Sale system for customer purchases.
• Ensures café is cleaned thoroughly at the end of the day and set-up for morning service by disposing of trash, mopping floors, and cleaning walk-in refrigerators and storages areas as necessary.

Servsafe certification a plus (which will be offered after the employee is hired).
