Job Opportunity: Food Service Worker at HCMC

Responsibilities include:

1. Arranging food for service
2. Preparing patient food trays
3. Delivering food to patients' bedside (if applicable)
4. Performing basic food prep such as washing, sectioning fruit, slicing meat, preparing salads and dressings, gelatin desserts, etc.
5. Cleaning dishes, trays, and glasses

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills
• Pass a criminal background check and DHS study
• Previous experience in food service, dietary aide, retail, or customer service is a plus
• Records of required immunizations (to be provided after hiring)

Schedule:

• Mid-shift: 10:30 am - 7:00 pm
• Rotating schedule including every other weekend
• This is a contract-to-hire position with full benefits available upon permanent hire

Benefits:

Health insurance benefits start the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Maintaining an average of 30 hours per week is required for coverage. 401(k) enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines. Earned Sick and Safe Time is accrued and can be used according to MN state guidelines.
