Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions

Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies. Develop and maintain good working rapport with staff and residents. Participate in departmental studies and training. Serve meals, assist in meal preparation, and maintain sanitation and safety standards. Handle food supplies and equipment, and uphold resident rights and confidentiality.

Safety and Sanitation

Follow sanitation regulations, safety precautions, and infection control policies. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report hazards or incidents immediately.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12th grade education.
• At least 18 years old or possess a work permit.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds and perform related tasks.
