Riddle Village, a lifecare retirement community, is seeking Dietary Aides to join our dining department team on a part-time basis.

Current Open Shifts

1. 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Part-time)
2. 11:15 a.m. - 7:45 p.m. (Part-time)
3. 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (32 hrs./biweekly)
4. 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (32 hrs./biweekly)
5. 11:15 a.m. - 7:45 p.m. (30 hrs./biweekly)
6. 3:45 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. (Part-time)
7. 4:15 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. (Part-time)

About The Dietary Aide Position

If you are friendly, sociable, love the elderly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this may be the job for you! The Dietary Aide participates in all aspects of meal service, including food preparation, service, and clean-up, in accordance with regulations and facility policies. You will ensure food safety, proper portion sizes, and quality service, making sure food is attractive, palatable, and served at correct temperatures according to diet orders.

Job Requirements

• Must be 16 years old or older
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize workloads
• Follow verbal and written directions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Genuine interest in working with the elderly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, individually and as part of a team
• Availability to work every other weekend (unless hired for a pool position)
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces for long periods, endure heat, humidity, noise, and lift up to 40 pounds
