Dietary Aide (Food Services)
General Purpose
The dietary aide's assignments are determined based on the activity of the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
Language Skills: Ability to read technical procedures, follow recipes, and effectively communicate with managers and staff.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Reasoning Ability: Capable of solving practical problems and interpreting various instructions.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, reaching, pushing/pulling, talking, smelling, and tasting. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Good vision is required.
Work Environment: Usually low to moderate noise level. Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
