Job summary

St. Teresa Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester, NH is looking for a Full-time Dietary Aide to join our Culinary Services team.

Our 51-bed skilled nursing facility provides short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere, and is part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire’s continuum of care. We offer Full-time hours (37.50 hrs/week, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, every other weekend) with generous benefits including health, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, and employer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food service experience preferred; on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals that are palatable, appetizing and on a timely basis in accordance with current menu, following time and temperature standards
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room
• Serve food in accordance to current diet, texture and liquid consistency orders; follow established portion control procedures
• Assist in checking resident meals or trays before distribution
• Deliver food carts, trays and other items to designated area
• Remove soiled carts and dishes from dining area upon completion of meal service
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans; return clean items to proper storage areas and ensure that they are ready for use for next meal

Full Time hours (37.50 hrs./week 7:00 am – 3:00 pm including every other weekend)

Per Diem hours with every other weekend availability.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
• Food service experience preferred but on-the-job training is available
