Position Summary: The primary purpose of your job is to assist in food preparation and service while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas as directed by the Food Service Director or Cook. Performs other duties as directed by community staff, following all health, sanitary, and infection control policies, and maintaining standards set by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow instructions.
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff.
• Ability to observe safety and sanitary techniques.
• Flexible to work scheduled hours, including rotating days and evenings.
• Must not pose a health or safety threat to others.

Experience: Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.

Shift and Wage:

• Part-Time, rotating shifts, approximately 20 hours/week, every other weekend.
• Wage: $14.00-$15.00 per hour.
