Job summary

The Beach Post-Acute is a 24-hour, 90-bed skilled nursing facility located in Long Beach, CA. We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team on an on-call basis, supporting our dietary supervisor and leadership.

Qualifications include being at least 18, having a high school diploma or GED, and showing compassion and professionalism. We offer a range of benefits for full-time employees and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all dietary functions as directed by the Dietary Supervisor or leadership.
• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus on time.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning and mopping per policies.
• Handle waste management in a consistent, compliant manner.
• Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas.
• Wash dishes and ensure utensils are ready for the next meal.
• Prepare, label and deliver nourishments as instructed.

We are excited to be on the search for a Dietary Aide to join our team! The ideal candidate is available for on-call hours.

Pay Range:

• $17.75/hour

Overview of the Position:

• The Dietary Aide provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed by the Dietary Supervisor or other leadership personnel.
• Assist in preparing meals in accordance with planned menus on a timely basis.
• Perform timely daily or scheduled cleaning and mopping duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform consistent, compliant waste management.
• Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures in a timely fashion. Assure that utensils, etc., are readily available for the next meal.
• Prepare, label and deliver nourishments, etc., as instructed.
