Job summary

Hickory Treatment Centers is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal prep, service, and kitchen cleanup for clients. Under the Dietary Manager, you’ll help cooks deliver healthy meals and maintain a clean, safe dining environment.

Responsibilities include following the menu, preparing items for special diets, sanitation, inventory support, and reporting unsafe conditions. Flexible scheduling is required to accommodate admissions and census. Hourly wages $14.00-$16.00.

Qualifications

• Basic kitchen knowledge.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Scheduling flexibility is required to accommodate client admissions, census and needs of the facility.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation

About the Role

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting with prepping, serving, and cleanup of client meals. As well as the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Under the immediate supervision of the Dietary Manager, the Dietary Aide assists the Cooks in preparing/serving client’s healthy meals to promote improved health and well-being of all clients.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Service

• Follow the established menu by preparing and serving all food and beverages
• Prepare food items and share cooking duties with other workers

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Wash dishes and clean work areas, tables, cabinets, and ovens
• Participate in cleaning and deep cleaning as instructed

Inventory & Kitchen Operations

• Assist with food inventory and other assigned duties

Safety & Reporting

• Report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to the Dietary Manager immediately

Professional Conduct

• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and clients

Compensation

$14.00-$16.00 hourly
