Job summary

North Campus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Leesburg, FL is seeking part-time Dietary Aides to support meal service, tray delivery, and kitchen upkeep.

You will work with the nutritionist to ensure residents receive proper meals, assist in stocking and inventory, and help maintain dining and kitchen areas. Previous SNF experience is preferred, and good English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or preferred.
• At least one year Skilled Nursing experience is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Take meal trays up to patients’ rooms and ensure they have everything they need.
• Work with nutritionist to obtain required nutritional measures.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Tray Line support and station cleanup.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.

Responsibilities of the Dietary Aides:

• Take meal trays up to patients’ rooms and ensure that they have everything they need to enjoy their meal.
• Work collaboratively with nutritionist to conduct/obtain require nutritional measures patients.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Tray Line
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances

Requirements/Qualifications of Tray Aides:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least one (1) year Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
