Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. You will take food and drink orders, seat and assist residents, deliver meals, and clear tables in a timely manner. May assist with cleaning, dishes, and basic food preparation.

Sanitation certification is required or obtainable within 30 days. Weekend/holiday rotation and a positive, team-focused attitude are essential assets for this role.

Qualifications

• Sanitation certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience serving in a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents' needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and good teamwork.
• Willing to work weekends and holiday rotations.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders and deliver meals to residents.
• Seat residents and assist them as needed.
• Remove dinnerware and maintain timely service.
• Assist with general cleaning, dishes, and basic food preparation as needed.

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for taking food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.

What we're looking for:

• Sanitation Certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents' needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player.
