Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide to create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. The role involves taking orders, seating and assisting residents, delivering meals, and clearing tables promptly.

Candidates should have sanitation certification or be able to obtain within 30 days, with prior restaurant serving experience preferred. Weekend and holiday rotation is required; opportunities for part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Sanitation Certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed.
• Deliver meals and remove dinnerware in a timely manner.
• Assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation as needed.

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for taking food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.
