Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Independence West Campus is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide for day shifts. You will help residents during meals, ensure correct dietary items are served, and help maintain food safety by monitoring temperatures.

The role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants should have at least a 10th grade education; prior skilled nursing foodservice experience is preferred but not required as we will invest in the right candidate.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals by ensuring the correct items are served according to dietary needs.
• Record temperatures to maintain food safety and quality.
• Keep the kitchen and dietary equipment clean and sanitized.
• Support a high standard of care for residents during meals.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Independence West Campus by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:
