Job summary

The Avenue at Westshore is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our caring culinary team. You will help deliver nourishing meals to residents, assist with meal setup and service, and keep dining areas clean and welcoming.

Prioritize safety and sanitation, be dependable, and work well in a fast-paced kitchen. This role supports resident-centered care and team collaboration, with opportunities to contribute to a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and bending throughout shift.
• Manual dexterity for handling kitchen tools.
• Tolerance for heat, steam, and cold in kitchen areas.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and restock drink and hospitality carts
• Assist with meal setup and delivery
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen areas
• Set up and clean dining room tables
• Support stock organization and trash removal
• Complete daily cleaning assignments
• Sweep and mop kitchen before shift ends
