Solaris HealthCare Forest Lake in Apopka, FL, is seeking a PRN Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, service, and cleanup for residents and staff in our nursing center and at events.

You will follow current standards and Solaris HealthCare policies, work with the Food Service Director and Cook, and contribute to safe, nutritious meals while upholding sanitation and guest service. This is a PRN, on-site role in Florida.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand directions.
• Ability to read is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assist with food preparation and service for residents and staff.
• Perform cleanup and sanitation in the dining areas.
• Follow production sheets and center procedures.
• Label nourishments and portion foods as directed.
• Deliver nourishments to resident areas.
• Support the Cook and Food Service Director as needed.

Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your job position is to perform a variety of tasks usually not requiring cooking skills in the preparation, service, and clean-up for meals served to residents and staff in the nursing center and other special events, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and Solaris HealthCare’s established policies and procedures.

• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, refrigerator, freezer and dining rooms.
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures. Delivers to resident areas.
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes. Pours beverages.
• Follows Production sheets and Pre-Preparation Guides.
• Uses proper handwashing technique and frequency.
• Completes work assignments.
