Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join the North Alabama Medical Center team. You will assist patients with menu selections and deliver meals with accuracy and timeliness, while delivering excellent service.

Full-time positions with day, evening, and night shifts are available. Applicants must pass background checks and provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. The role emphasizes teamwork, hygiene, and adherence to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Culinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selection and deliver meals.
• Ensure each patient receives meals that match their order and diet.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.
• Support team and management to ensure efficient operation.

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team! As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

• Dietary Aide Wage: $14/hour
• Full-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: North Alabama Medical Center
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

Preferred

• Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
