Wage and Schedule

Wage: $20.00 - $21.55/hr
Schedule: On Call shifts available. Full-time and part-time positions available. On Call employees are eligible for 401K only; part-time employees are eligible for all benefits except Medical.

Responsibilities

• Assist in washing and sanitizing dishes.
• Assist in food preparation, serving, and maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Check that plate and hot base lowerator are heated, steam table is properly heated.
• Ensure accurate serving portions and food items on each tray before loading to the food cart.
• Use appropriate serving utensils; ensure temperatures are within standards and logged.
• During tray line, ensure trays are garnished, neatly arranged, and that silverware, cups, and dishes are clean and dry.
• Check and record excess/shortage in preparation, discuss with supervisor.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s permit/ServeSafe certification as per state requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English.
• Ability to relate positively to residents, families, and coworkers.
• Must pass drug screening, criminal background check, and reference inquiry.
