Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meals, snacks and related food service tasks in accordance with menus, recipes and safety standards. You will help keep the dining area clean, support residents with meals, and participate in daily shifts with a team that values patience, cheerfulness, and a positive attitude.

The role requires a caring, reliable approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a resident-centered environment.

• Patient, tactful, cheerful, and enthusiastic; able to handle residents according to their maturity level.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Dietary Aide is responsible for aiding all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

Essential Duties

• Review, prepare &serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders. Also ensure food, etc., is prepared in accordance with sanitary regulations.
• Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
• Prepare &deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.
