Job summary

The Arbors and The Ivy Assisted Living Communities is seeking a Dietary Aide (Utility Worker) to join our kitchen team in a full-time/part-time capacity. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly dining area and support meal service for residents.

Ideal candidates are 16+ with dependable, team-oriented attitudes and comfort with repetitive tasks and physical work. We emphasize safety, respect, and high standards in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Previous dietary or kitchen experience preferred.
• Dependable and team-oriented.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and physical work.
• Follows procedures and safety rules without shortcuts.
• Takes pride in a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Treats residents and coworkers with respect and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Mop and clean all kitchen areas daily according to health department standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workspaces.
• Clean cookware and dishwashing areas nightly.
• Perform regular deep-cleaning of kitchens and dining areas.
• Keep the dishwasher clean and in working order.
• Follow all OSHA and safety procedures.
• Report any accidents or safety concerns immediately.
• Jump in where needed to support the team and keep operations running smoothly.
