Job Summary

The Dietary Aide will perform tasks related to meal preparation, service, and cleanup for residents, maintaining an attractive and sanitary dining environment.

Principal Responsibilities

• Assist with food ordering, storage, and preparation as directed by the supervisor.
• Help cooks with food preparation and other kitchen duties.
• Prepare and label nourishments, desserts, salads, and other foods.
• Follow production and pre-preparation guidelines.
• Perform pre-preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables, and measuring ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including cleaning equipment and floors, and taking out trash.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: One year of experience in a large-scale cooking operation.
