Job summary

The Glebe - LifeSpire is seeking a Dietary Aide to support dining services for residents in our community. Join a mission-driven team focused on delivering high-quality meals and compassionate care to residents.

You will assist with meal service, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety standards while collaborating with a supportive staff. This entry-level role offers growth opportunities within a values-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Prior food service experience preferred but not required.
• Friendly and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to follow food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepping dining areas prior to meal service.
• Delivering meals to resident homes within the community.
• Plating and presenting food according to service guidelines.
• Greeting residents, reviewing menu items, and taking meal orders.
• Serving food and clearing tables efficiently.
• Following HACCP guidelines for safe food handling.
• Maintaining personal cleanliness and proper uniform standards.
• Demonstrating dependability in attendance and job task completion.
