Job summary

Prairie Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Chicago Heights is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to enhance the dining experience for residents, ensuring meals are nutritious, visually appealing, and served in a timely manner. The culinary team supports portion control and a welcoming dining environment.

This full-time role requires weekend and some holiday availability, the ability to lift 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and provide excellent customer service while contributing to daily cleaning

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs. and carry items a minimum distance of 50 feet
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing
• Assist in meal service in a timely and organized manner
• Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures
• Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to enhance the mealtime experience
• Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed
