Job summary

Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beecher, IL is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to enhance meals and the dining experience for our residents. You will help ensure meals are nutritious, visually appealing, and served with care in a welcoming setting.

Responsibilities include assisting in meal service, following portion control procedures, performing daily cleaning duties, and setting up meal trays and dining areas. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Weekend availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Ability to push, pull, move and lift at least 25 lbs.
• Stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail.

• Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing.
• Assist in meal service in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures.
• Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures; set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room.
• Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed.

Dietary Aide Requirements:

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs. and carry items a minimum distance of 50 feet
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail
