Renwick Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to enhance the dining experience for our residents in Joliet, IL. Mealtime is a crucial part of their day, and our culinary team ensures nutritious, visually appealing meals are served with care.

You will support meal service, maintain portion control, and help keep the dining area clean and welcoming. Weekend availability and the ability to lift 25 lbs are required; excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Dietary Aide Requirements

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs. and carry items a minimum distance of 50 feet
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills

As a Dietary Aide, you will:

• Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing
• Assist in meal service in a timely and organized manner
• Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures
• Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to enhance the mealtime experience
• Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed
