Job summary

Grasmere Place is seeking a dedicated Dieta ry Aide to enhance the dining experience for residents in our Extended Care affiliated facility in Chicago, IL. You will help serve nutritious meals, assist during meal service, and ensure portion control while maintaining a clean dining environment.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work weekends/holidays is required. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to join a caring team dedicated to quality resident care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing.
• Assist in meal service in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures.
• Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to enhance the mealtime experience.
• Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed.

Dietary Aide Requirements:

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
