Job summary

Austin Oasis seeks a Dietary Aide to support resident meals, tray service, dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation in our Chicago healthcare setting.

Full-time position, 6am-2pm, with every other weekend. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year in food service. Healthcare experience preferred; training offered for interested team members.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in food service.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred; willing to train for our special populations.
• Food safety handlers certification preferred and will be required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals following dietary guidelines.
• Dishwash and clean work areas; sanitize surfaces.

Requirements:

Candidates must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one years experience in food service. Experience working in a healthcare setting and an understanding of behavioral health is preferred, but we are more than happy to train those who are interested in serving our special populations!
