Posted Salary Range

USD $12.00 - USD $14.75 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals for patients, staff, and special events as directed by the Dietary Manager.
• Serve food and snacks according to the menu and residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Help the Cook by ensuring food is prepared, portioned, and served following proper food safety techniques, on time, and in accordance with the menu and diet orders.
• May wash dishes or perform other duties as instructed by the Dietary Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
• Food handler’s permit preferred, based on local regulations.
• Experience in food preparation and service in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is strongly preferred.
• Must be fluent in English (speaking, understanding, and writing).
• Reliable transportation is required.
